RSS, SGA and TEMPLE CONVENTION INFORMATION

Join us for a one of a kind educational experience for parents of children, as well as affected adults, living with an endocrine disorder.  World renowned speakers from across the globe will present on physical health, mental health, insurance, genetics, education issues, and so much more!

Unfortunately at this time there are no more chart reviews available

Dr. Harbison is a pediatric endocrinologist at Mt. Sinai in New York City who has treated or consulted on more than 700 RSS/SGA patient and we know that many of you rely upon her annual guidance in the care of your child.  Dr. “H” is not able to offer free in-person visits this year. However, she has once again offered to volunteer her time for “chart reviews” of children whose families are registered for either the in-person convention or for those who may be unable to attend in person, you may also choose to register to watch any/all of the 16 RSS/SGA/Temple taped presentations from the 2021 Virtual Convention [the 2022 presentations will not be recorded or available for streaming]. Please see below for details on the in-person MAGIC convention as well as the 2021 presentation topics.

What is a “chart review”? Jennifer Salem will meet privately with Dr. H and other observing international specialists including Dr. Irène Netchine from France to present a custom created set of data on your child including your top 2-3 questions for Dr. H. You will then receive back a comprehensive written report with Dr. H’s  answers to your top 2-3 questions and other recommendations to help keep your child as healthy as possible. Due to time and logistic constraints, no virtual meeting will take place but you will receive a very detailed and comprehensive report.

When you register below by division, please choose either IN PERSON, if you are attending in person, OR choose ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION if you plan to watch the 2021 presentations and will not be coming to Chicago.  These options are under Thursday of the registration form under the dropdown menu.  Once you are registered, Jennifer will contact you to find out if you would like to have a chart review (first come first serve based on registration date). Chart reviews are provided at no additional cost but donations to the RSS/SGA R&E Fund are always accepted and can be made here:  https://www.magicfoundation.org/Give/

The Independent Charities Seal of Excellence is awarded to Charities of America that have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.

These standards include those required by the US Government for inclusion in the Combined Federal Campaign, probably the most exclusive fund drive in the world.

Of the 1,000,000 charities operating in the United States today, it is estimated that fewer than 50,000, or 5 percent, meet or exceed these standards, and, of those, fewer than 2,000 have been awarded this Seal. MAGIC's CFC #10388.

Joining MAGIC Foundation has incredible member benefits including a quarterly newsletter, discounts on events, and best of all you are supporting the world's leading advocacy and information group help thousands of families.
