 We enjoy working with groups of parents from many areas throughout the country who have affected children. As parents of affected chldren ourselves, it is a healing process for us all.
Local Educational Programs involve one parent and their child’s physician or staff member. We ask the physician or a member of his/her medical group to speak about the specific medical issues we as parents face. We provide a parent member of MAGIC to talk about parent issues (how to deal with a variety of special circumstances with our children’s needs).
These programs are fun and educational. They are conducted in your local community and are held at NO CHARGE to families.
We do require the assistance of one local person to assist with the set up, as they know the area best. But we are great at helping you each step of the way. We even handle the printing of invitations for you.
Invitations are mailed out through the local physicians offices. We supply them ready for their address stickers (they protect your confidentiality). We offer refreshments and snacks during the program as funding allows.
